How often should I get this facial?
For optimal results, a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended. However, your skincare professional can tailor a plan based on your skin’s needs.
I only want to have one treatment. Is this okay?
Yes, absolutely! However, we take skin needling seriously (as it should be), so we’ll perform a complimentary consultation beforehand to ensure it’s the right treatment for you and your skin concerns. Our protocol includes recommending the correct pre- and post-treatment products to ensure your skin is in optimal health. This way, you’ll achieve the best possible results—even from just one treatment. However, for more significant and lasting results, multiple sessions are typically recommended.
Will there be downtime?
Yes, but it’s minimal! For surface-level (epidermal) treatments, you might experience some redness and light flaking for a few days. Deeper (dermal) treatments, which deliver more dramatic results, may cause a sunburn-like sensation for 24-48 hours. During this time, makeup can be applied. You may also notice light micro-crusting, flaking, or shedding for 1-2 weeks, but these can be easily concealed with makeup.
To ensure the best timing, we recommend discussing your schedule with your skin therapist, especially if you have any special events coming up! 5. Will it hurt?
It’s not your go-to treatment for relaxation, but we promise the results are worth the momentary discomfort! The vibrations and speed of the needles help minimize pain, though areas like the forehead and lips may feel slightly more sensitive compared to the cheeks and décolletage. The good news?
